This is about the 8th number 9 dress I have bought and once again I love it! Whenever I wear it I get loads of comments, the fit is perfect the material is so soft and flowy! I continue to treat this shop as my main wardrobe filler!
The print is amazing and the material is super light and breezy which is perfect for summer. The added pockets are a nice surprise. I would recommend styling it with a belt to cinch in the look.
Love, love, love the print on this dress with the contrasting red buttons. Looking forward to wearing it more when it heats up again. The only complaint is the armholes were a bit tight, but it fit great everywhere else so couldn't go up a size.
G'Day Dana have you seen if it is possible to get the arms adjusted? We try to make them as large as possible, though it is always a juggling act between looser arms versus having them gape. :-(
This dress is beautiful, love the cotton fabric and the print. Unfortunately the cut doesn’t work too wel on me, the waist is really large compared to the rest of the dress, and the full gathers of the skirt make my hips look really big - overall frumpy. If you have a more straight figure or are top heavy this will probably look great.
G'Day Alisa, Have you tried a belt to pull in the waist fabric? Also you can return for 110% store credit, a full refund or exchange too. returns.number9fashion.com
This is my second order from Number 9 Fashion, and after receiving this latest order I am completely confident ordering online from them (which I normally hate - I try EVERYTHING on before buying!). Firstly, the sizing charts are completely accurate for each dress - someone obviously measures each garment in each size to make a unique sizing chart for each style. I have ordered one size 12 dress, one size 14 dress, and one size L dress from the website based on the sizing charts and they all fit perfectly. It’s not just some generic sizing chart like most companies use, so follow the sizing chart ladies!!!! This dress is so cute. It gives a very classic/retro look based on the cut and pattern. The fabric is light and floaty and it is unlined, so great for summer. The buttons are real - no zippers on this one, and they’re thoughtfully placed, with more buttons in the waist section to avoid gaping when you sit down. I am 163cms tall and the dress falls below the knee - closer to the knee than to the middle of the calf. The skirt section is flowy and feminine and it has pockets!! The bodice is fairly fitted on me, and it has little pleats/tucks around the bust which makes it very flattering and enhance the curvy look. I have chubby upper arms, but the sleeves on this fit well and don’t impede movement (they’re not loose, but they’re not too tight, which is often a problem for me). The neckline is about as low as I’d want to go (I generally can’t wear wrap around dresses because the neckline is always too low on me) - if you have the same issue, you’ll probably be in the same boat as me with this dress - it’s not a problem and I really like it, but I wouldn’t want the neckline to go any lower! Definitely recommend!
It was smaller than other size 18 dresses I’ve bought so I’ve returned it for exchange.
G'Day Karyn, Was that other Number 9 size 18's or size 18 in general? Thanks!
